This scheme, currently under construction consists of 396 student bedroom spaces in 77 flat clusters in a 13 storey building. The site is located in Liverpool City Centre adjacent to University campuses.
The project is clad with Rockclad cladding, facing brick and curtain walling to ground floor communal areas. The external appearance of the building is designed to look like two separate and distinct buildings.
The more prominent ‘slab’ part of the scheme is clad in a lighter colour and has a regular two storey fenestration pattern. The ‘tower’ element is set back from the main façade and is clad with a dark grey cladding. Windows appear more random and the glazed feature on the corner is designed to be read as one glazed space. The ‘tower’ is all about lightness and transparency whilst the ‘slab’ conveys solidity and strength.
Each bedroom has ensuite bathroom facilities whilst residents will enjoy the use of a dedicated gymnasium, hi tech laundry, private garden space, student lounge and games areas. The city centre location will make it a sought after development for new residents.
