This mixed use scheme reuses a previously developed plot in the heart of the University quarter in Bradford to provide 247 student bedspaces in individual studio flats and a 35 bed apartment hotel.
The buildings use brick as the primary material for their facades, with a random pattern of recesses and protruding panels providing relief over the whole building. Massing was carefully designed to reflect the prevailing street scene whilst a public square links the two parts of the scheme together. The ground floor provides a large student lounge and retail units opening into the square.
